Infinix Note Edge : Alright friends, Infinix has officially kicked off 2026! They are launching a brand new phone to start the year with a bang. This is their first phone of 2026, the Infinix Note Edge.
Now, we all know the Note series, but this is a special sub-series called “Note Edge.” Last year we saw the Note 50, and now we have the Note 60, but this “Edge” model is something else. It’s designed to compete with high-end premium “Edge” devices. It’s super thin, packed with AI, and has a battery that just won’t quit. I’m going to tell you everything today.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Unboxing
The box comes in a striking green and black theme. Inside, the first thing you notice is the branding: “Sound by JBL” and “The Edge of a New Beginning.” What’s in the box?

- The phone itself (wrapped in protective film).
- A 45W adapter and a USB Type-A to Type-C cable.
- A color-coordinated hard case (ours was the Silk Green variant).
- A hard screen protector with wet/dry wipes (crucial for curved screens!).
- SIM ejector tool and documentation.
- Some cool Infinix stickers to show off.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Design

The moment you pick it up, you’ll go “Wow.” Infinix calls this the Silk Fabric Finish. It has a shimmering, silky texture that feels premium and doesn’t catch fingerprints easily. It’s curved everywhere front, back, and sides giving it a very ergonomic feel.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Weight
Here’s the shocker: the phone is only 7.2mm thin. Usually, thin phones have tiny batteries, but this one houses a massive 6500mAh unit. Despite that, it weighs only 188.7g (some variants up to 190g). It’s incredibly light for a battery monster.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Ports & Buttons

- Bottom: Speaker grill, USB-C port, and primary microphone.
- Left: SIM card tray.
- Top: Second speaker grill (JBL tuned), IR Blaster, and noise-canceling mic.
- Right: Volume rockers, power button, and a special “Light Green AI Key.” This multi-functional button can be assigned to 30 different functions!
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Display
The display is a showstopper. We’re looking at a 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution.

- Refresh Rate: 120Hz (LTPS tech allows switching between 60/90/120Hz).
- Brightness: 1600 nits (HBM) and a staggering 4500 nits peak brightness.
- Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The bezels are razor-thin (1.87mm), making the content look like it’s floating.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Specifications
Under the hood, it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 (6nm). This is one of the first phones in India to use this chipset.

- RAM/Storage: Options for 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB (LPDDR5X + UFS 2.2).
- Battery: 6500mAh with 45W All-Round FastCharge. It hits 50% in about 27 minutes.
- Extras: 10W Reverse Wired Charging and “Bypass Charging” for gamers.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Performance
With an AnTuTu score hovering around 7.5 to 8 Lakhs, it’s a solid mid-range performer. It handles BGMI at 60FPS out of the box, with a 90FPS update promised soon. Thermals stay under control thanks to the efficient 6nm architecture.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G OS & UI

It debuts with XOS 16 based on Android 16. Infinix is getting serious about software they’ve promised 3 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security patches. The UI feels much cleaner, with customizable lock screens and “Liquid Glass” animations.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G AI Features
The dedicated AI key triggers FOLAX, your personal AI assistant. It can summarize texts, translate in real-time, and even generate AI wallpapers. There’s also an AI Eraser in the gallery and AI Super Signal to help with connectivity in basements or lifts.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Multimedia
Thanks to the JBL partnership, the stereo speakers are loud and rich. Combined with the 1.5K curved display and Widevine L1 support, watching Netflix or YouTube is a cinematic experience.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Sensors & Connectivity
It’s fully loaded:

- Sensors: In-display optical fingerprint (works fast!), G-sensor, E-compass, Gyroscope.
- Connectivity: 14+ 5G bands, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an IR Blaster to control your AC/TV.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Camera
The Infinix NOTE Edge 5G brings a very capable camera setup for its price. The 50MP Primary Sensor (f/1.8) is the hero, capturing crisp details and maintaining natural Indian skin tones without over-processing. It is paired with a 2MP Depth lens for professional-looking portraits and supports 2K video recording, which is a big win for content creators. On the front, the 13MP selfie camera ensures clear and sharp photos for social media.

The real highlight, however, is the Active Halo Lighting. This intelligent RGB ring on the back isn’t just for show; it acts as a functional notification center. It pulses during incoming calls, glows while charging, and even dances to the rhythm of your music, giving the phone a futuristic and premium vibe.
Camera & Light Highlights:
- 50MP Main Camera: High-resolution sensor with f/1.8 aperture for bright low-light photos.
- Portrait Tech: 2MP depth sensor for smooth background blur.
- 2K Video: High-definition video recording @ 30FPS for better post-editing.
- 13MP Selfie: Sharp front-facing camera with AI beauty and night modes.
- Active Halo RGB: Customizable light ring for calls, notifications, and music.
- Pro Modes: Features like Super Night Mode, Vlog Mode, and AI Portrait.
Infinix NOTE Edge 5G Features & Verdict
The Infinix NOTE Edge 5G is a powerhouse of utility and durability. Beyond its stunning looks, it comes with an IP65 rating, making it resistant to dust and water splashes perfect for the unpredictable Indian weather. It also features a lightning-fast optical in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC for contactless payments, and a loud stereo speaker setup tuned by JBL.
In conclusion, the Infinix NOTE Edge 5G is a game-changer for ₹19,999. It successfully blends a flagship-level 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a monstrous 6500mAh battery in a record-breaking 7.2mm slim body. If you value design, battery life, and a premium screen experience, this is the best pick in its segment. Plus, the peace of mind offered by the one-time free screen replacement (for early buyers) makes it a deal that is very hard to ignore.

Pro Tip: If you buy it before March 25th, Infinix is offering a 12-month extended warranty and a one-time free screen replacement. Given it’s a curved screen, that’s a huge peace of mind!
