It keeps the transparent styling, Glyph lighting and clean software experience that give Nothing phones their identity, while using a mid-range processor and a simpler camera setup. After spending a few days with it, the Phone (4b) still feels recognisably Nothing, although its lower positioning becomes clear in performance, camera flexibility and charging speed.
A Familiar Design That Still Stands Out
Nothing’s transparent design remains easy to recognise, and Nothing Phone 4b retains enough visual character to avoid blending into the crowded mid-range segment. The clear camera section, visible detailing and flat-edged body give it a more distinctive appearance than most phones around this price.
That familiar identity also extends to the Glyph Bar. It is less elaborate than the lighting systems found on some earlier Nothing models, but it can still display notifications, charging progress and selected live updates. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 is not intended for serious gaming, the ultra-wide camera is fairly basic, and 33W charging feels conservative beside such a large battery.
